BISHOP'S Mass at St. Therese Church - All families are invited and encouraged to attend this Mass with the bishop on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 5:00 pm to celebrate the Feast of St. Therese.  All students are asked to wear their regular St. Therese uniform.  We are also looking to STS students to altar serve and do the readings.  Please contact Mr. Dunnigan if you can help.

6th: Study world map used in class for quiz (Part B) tomorrow, 9/9.  You will be asked to identify and label each continent, ocean and major mountain range.  You will also shade the continents different colors to show their boundaries, just as we did in school.

RELIGION:

7th: Chapter 1-read & highlight the chapter.  Answer the chapter assessment at the end of the chapter.   Questions 1-8 may be written in your Religion textbook.  Essay 9-10 (minimum of 5 sentences) is to be typed on your Google Doc with the rest of the chapter 1 work.    PRINT all work for chapter 1 for tomorrow, 9/9.

 SOCIAL STUDIES:

8th-Review for 12-1 & 12-2 quiz .  Continue to work on your 12-1 student study guide.  Keep it on the Google Docs until called for.   Then you will print it.

7th-Review 1-1 for quiz that will be given after we complete 1-2 outline. Date to be determined later.

6th-Tomorrow (9/8) you will list the seven continents, four oceans, and six major mountain ranges that we have been discussing in class.  On Friday, (9/9) you will be given a blank world map, exactly like the one we have been practicing, and you will identify and name of continents, oceans, and mountain ranges.  You will also color/shade the continents different colors using your colored pencils, just as we have been doing in class.

RELIGION:

8th-Rosary beads due Thursday, 9/29.

7th-Chapter 1-finish writing your response to the "Big Question" found at the start of the chapter.  A minimum of 5 sentences.  Also read the "Partner in Faith"  section and then write 5 "bullet style" notes for that person, just as we discussed in class today.  DO NOT PRINT IT YET.

I knw I don't have you for Religion this year, but I still want you to make your own Rosary Beads and I will add the grade to your Social Studies account.  Rosary Beads are due on Thursday, 9/29.  Don't forget that Michaels, JoAnn's, offer discount coupons.  If you have any questions please see me.

RELIGION:

7th-You will be making your own set of Rosary Beads, that we will have blessed.  I provided you a template if you need one.  We will discuss this Religion project in class.  You will be purchasing beads of your liking (within reason)  Rosary Beads are a sacramental and hopefully you will keep your Rosary Beads for the rest of your life.  NO FOOD or TOY items may be used.  Please check with me if you have any questions.

Finish writing the definitions for the five Faith Words if you did not finish them in class.

All Chrome books should be charged for Tuesday's classes.
