Happy Friday!
As we look forward to a nice weekend, please take time to remember the tragic events of 9/11/01 on its 20th anniversary. We've spoken about it in class and we had a special presentation this morning during prayers. Please continue to pray for our country and all those who were impacted so personally on that fateful day. There are several video presentations available to view, which I feel would be best watched as a family. Even those of us who saw the images, let alone lived them, on that Tuesday, can still be affected. And we can continue to pray that we never see such an attack again.

8th-Review for 12-1 & 12-2 quiz Wednesday, 9/15. Outline 12-3 due Friday, 9/17. Online quiz for chapter 12 due next Friday, 9/17. Outline 12-4 due Monday, 9/23.
7th-Outline 1-2 due Monday, including essential question, with a paper copy for your binder. Online quiz for chapter 1 due next Friday, 9/17.
6th-Map quiz on Monday, 9/13. Use map distributed and practice maps to help study. You will be asked to write the name of the seven continents, four oceans and 6 major mountain ranges. You will also be asked to identify, label, and color the continents and identify and label the mountains and oceans, just as we practiced in class.

LITERATURE:
8th-The Baker Heater League is our current story. Please reread the story several times before the story comprehension quiz next week.
