I hope you all had a blessed and relaxing Easter break. We are in our final academic quarter of the year and it is going to race by, especially for our 8th graders.
SOCIAL STUDIES:
8th-Make copies of all outlines for your binder by tomorrow. Review outlines. Quiz 21-1 & 21-2 will be a summary format style quiz.
7th-Review the Bill of Rights for quiz later this week. Assigned outline for chapter 8 is due Thursday, 4/15/21. Any extra credit are also due at that time.
6th-Review for chapter 8 test later this week.
RELIGION:
8th-Chapter 15 review chapter for test on Wednesday. Chapter 16 faith words/person/Big Q & A due Friday, 4/16/21. Read/highlight/answer end of chapter questions due Monday, 4/19.
7th-Review chapter 16 for test.
LITERATURE:
8th-Poetry selection: Thumbprint, The Drum, and Ring Out, Wild Bells. Comprehension quiz on Thursday, 4/15/21. Poem-You may pick from our three topics: Covid/Friendship/Nature to write your 24 line rhyming poem. You may break it into the stanzas lines as you wish, 2/3/4. Your poem should be ready for you to read next Tuesday. Holocaust book oral presentation will be on Monday, May 3rd- 5 minutes-brief description of main character or one event discussed in story. There is NO written report. You may use note cards to GLANCE AT, but not read from in its entirety.
